Erin began her career behind the chair in 2002, by 2008 she realized education was her true passion. Helping stylists hone their craft while simultaneously learning from them and building community is what fuels her. Erin is forever evolving her career in new and exciting directions. After 17 years of being a colorist and cutting specialist, Erin has hung up her color brushes and shifted directions to take on a more effortless, lower maintenance approach with a focus on cleaner, sustainable beauty for all hair textures. Starting with her salon, Fix Hair Studio, Chicago’s first clean air focused salon where you can receive lower toxin hair color services and have access to complexly toxin free hair care. Each brand is carefully selected based on their ethics, ingredients and mission. No more are the days of big brands without intention. She is on a journey to help create a new industry standard, to help stylists become more confident with their craft, and incorporate cleaner beauty practices into their daily routines. She believes beauty doesn't have to come at the cost of our health.
