Salon Owner of Bombshell Beauty Boutique, Melanie Saso has been in the industry for 8+years. She is your vintage styling GURU! Melanie’s inspiration comes in so many forms. From Classic Hollywood Glam to Psycho billy dirty punks. She loves and appreciates it all. Melanie can incorporate elements from all walks of life into her art work and looks forward to sharing her skills in the classroom.

As a little girl, she grew up singing Patsy Cline and Leslie Gore songs into her hairbrush with her big sister. Those two worlds would collide again in 2014 when she created Bombshell Beauty Boutique. A full service, vintage inspired salon in her rural hometown. Fast forward to 4 years later and her passion for vintage hair design has led her to become a traveling stylist. She spends weekdays at her brick and mortar business in Mendota, IL and freelances in Chicago on the weekends. She can be found behind the chair at Twisted Scissors in Logan Square, traveling for weddings or working music festivals and car shows across the Mid-West.
